The Injury

John likes to play the game with Owen where you throw him up in the air a little and Owen giggles. We went to my parent's house Friday and John forgot the ceilings there are shorter than at our place. Owen ended up bumping his head and having a good cry about it. We put some ice on it and gave him a little baby tyelonol. He has a bruise now, but no other lasting damage. John felt awfully bad about it though!!

Picnic with Grandma

Today we went and had a picnic with Grandma Cary down by the Mukilteo Ferry, and had some good Subway Sandwiches, Tim Original Chips, Sweet Maui Onion Chips, and Hello Dolly Cookies (some call them Magic Bars). Owen had his first swing on a swing set today and had a pretty good time, be sure to check out the video.

the doctor said that his gum's were a little swollen
and he has been sucking on his hands quite a bit.

Four Months Old

Sorry its a little late but we wanted to wait for his latest doctors appointment to give you all Owen's measurements.
Owen is
24.5 inches tall in the 30th percentile
44 cm. Head Circumference in the 90th percentile
17 lbs. 1 0z. Weight 90th percentile

Getting a little taller, last time he was in the 25th percentile. Weight is still in the same percentile.

He is doing great and a lot of fun. He likes to talk, drool, laugh, jump in his jumper, go on walks, and stand up with help. He does not like to get into his car seat. Starting about two weeks ago he started to throw up for the first time, I think because we would feed him too much before going to bed. He is also starting to grab onto toys, and he likes to eat/suck on his hands sometimes gagging himself.

Memorial Day Weekend

This Memorial Day Weekend we went with Jon and Cheri in their trailer down to Astoria/Seaside/Cannon Beach area in Oregon. We had a great time, Owen had a great time too besides being strapped into his car seat (which he is not that fond of).


Here we are in the town of Tillamook at the Cheese Factory
It was pretty cool to see the cheese whiz by on the conveyor belts.
At one point the cheese got stuck and backed up, all the cheese behind
the block started to fall off.
