Thirteen Months!

I don't know how much longer we'll do monthly updates, but I happened to remember to take pictures on the 22nd, so here they are!
Owen has mastered walking and is practically running now. His first official word is definitely "Hi!" He says it about 1,000 times a day. We're working on "Hi Mama" or "Hi Dada" or "bye bye" or anything else. It sounded like he was saying peek a boo the other day, but he only did it once or twice. We tried doing sign language for awhile but all he's picked up is the sign for More. We've quit formula and he's just drinking whole milk now. He is also starting to give kisses, but only when he feels like it. It's super cute though! We think he might be teething because he's been crabbier than usual and sleeping a little less. Maybe starting on molars or something? His favorite toy right now is the Fridge DJ that we borrowed from Quinn. He carries it around with him all over. I know most people aren't interested in this much detail about things, but it will be nice for us to remember all of this later. :)

Posing nicely for a split second

I do not want to sit in this chair!

I'll just get the sign!

The last few weeks...

We went someplace we've been wanting to try

Very excited

Hi Cutie!
Destroying our living room
Had dinner with Medina's and Hunter's
Ate some cake and the crumbs made him look like Cindy Crawford

Rachael babysat

Had another date with Monica and Beau
They think he looks like Steve Jobs in his black turtleneck
Lindsay turned 28!

We went to the beach at Mukilteo

And played on the swings

Also, went on a trip to Cle Elum but will do a separate post of that.

The weather this weekend was so nice! We went to the Conservatory at Volunteer Park

Not impressed with cacti

Took some pics by the sculpture (Space Needle in the background)

We went on a walk down near the Arboretum (Tell us how you really feel about Husky Stadium, John.)
Used our new backpack

Callista thinks he looks more like an International Man of Mystery with his hat and turtleneck on
Grandpa Jon played Peek-a-boo in a big box!

... Or big for Owen, but not so big for Grandpa!
